Youth murdered in drunken brawl

VISAKHAPATNAM : A youth allegedly murdered his friend in a drunken brawl late on Thursday night.

Jadhav Santosh Kumar, 18, a vagabond, and Balaraju, 32, a rag picker, were reportedly friends. On Thursday they had an overdose of alcohol at Dondaparthy after which they started quarrelling. Santosh Kumar tried to squeeze Balaraju's neck and the latter hit him on the head with a stick. Santosh was shifted to hospital where he was declared dead.
