Jewellery worth Rs. 5 lakh stolen from house

BANGALORE:
Gold jewellery worth Rs. 5 lakh and Rs. 5,000 in cash were stolen from a software engineer's house in Indiranagar police station limits on Thursday.
The police said the theft took place at Anuj Srimal's house on Krishna Temple Street between 8 a.m. and 7.30 p.m.
The police suspect that a domestic help could have made away with the jewellery and the cash that were kept in the wardrobe.
The Indiranagar police have registered a case.
Chain snatched
Two men, who came on a motorcycle, snatched a gold chain worth Rs. 16,000 from a teacher in Subramanyanagar police station limits on Thursday.
According to the police, around 7 p.m. the two men snatched the chain from Kalavathi while she was walking on 10th A Main, 1st Block, Rajajinagar.
The Subramanyanagar police have registered a case.
