Plan to train youth in call centre management

Possibilities being explored to make them proficient in various trades: MP


  • District administration and Abid Ali Foundation to provide training
  • Over 320 youths from the district apply for month-long training
  • Training centre in building construction with NAC help also planned

    NIZAMABAD: Madhu Goud Yaskhi, MP, has said efforts are on with the help of the district administration and the Abid Ali Foundation, Hyderabad to provide training to youth in call centre management and also to explore employment opportunities for them across the country.

    Attending as the chief guest at an awareness camp for youth at the Jawahar Bala Bhavan here on Saturday, Mr. Yaskhi said he was making efforts to set up a training centre in the district in building construction with the assistance of National Academy of Construction. Besides, possibilities were being explored to give training in different trades.

    Communication skills

    The MP said students if develop communication skills in English they would have plenty of opportunities. NCC Commandant Col. P.V. Durga Prasad felt that the youth would have good future after completion of the training.

    Foundation chairman and Siasat Chief Editor Zaheeruddin Ali Khan predicted that in years to come over 1.15 lakh jobs would be available for youth in call centres, IT, hotel and tourism sectors in Hyderabad, Bangalore, Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata.

    The Abid Ali Khan Foundation would provide all necessary training to youth to enable them to be fit for such challenging jobs, he said. Over 320 youths who applied for the month-long training would be also be offered counselling for selection towards the end of this month.

    District Youth Welfare Officer K. Madhukar Babu, Sunil Tikale of the National Institute of Information Technology, M.A. Khadir and Imran Idris took part.
