KOZHIKODE: Kanthapuram A.P. Aboobacker Musliyar, Sunni leader, has said that no talks were held with him or his faction regarding the reported formation of a common platform for Muslim outfits against the Indian Union Muslim League. "We are not a political party," Mr. Kanthapuram told presspersons here on Saturday. Asked if his faction would lead a fight against the National Development Front as was being done in a panchayat in Malappuram, Mr. Kanthapuram said that his organisation was interested in elevating people spiritually, thereby reducing terrorism. "We are not interested in declaring a war against a particular organisation," he clarified.
