DEHRA DUN: Security has been stepped up and vigil around sensitive installations in Uttaranchal further strengthened in view of the terrorist attack in Malegaon on Friday. A senior State Home Department official said here on Saturday that the police were screening the traffic entering the State from Uttar Pradesh and Himachal Pradesh. The security agencies are keeping a close watch along the international border with Nepal as anti-India elements had been reported to be entering the country from that side also.
