Haasya Vallari today

The Visakha Humour Club will conduct a free humour show `Haasya Vallari' on Sunday in Prema Samajam Auditorium in Dabagardens at 6.15 p.m. Audience can also share good jokes and get prizes, said club secretary N. Prabhakar.

IOB's Hindi Day fete

The regional office of the Indian Overseas Bank is organising various competitions in Hindi for supervisory and clerical staff working in the circle on the occasion of Hindi Day to be celebrated on Septembr 14.

Vessel flagged off

Bharat Heavy Plate and Vessel Managing (BHPV) director Om Prakash on Saturday flagged off a vessel called `Hydro carbon flare knock-out drum.'

The vehicle is an over dimensional consignment with a value of Rs.1.02 crores weighing 79 tonnes.

It is built as part of clean fuel project being executed by Visakh Refinery of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited.
