Power shutdown on Monday, Tuesday
There will be no power supply on Monday and Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. due to "reconductoring" on F-2 feeder of Kadugodi sub-station.
The areas that will be affected are Whitefield, Ramagondanahalli, Borewell Road, ECC Road and surrounding areas, a release from the Bangalore Electricity Supply Company (BESCOM) release said.
Award presented to professor
The "Rajiv Gandhi Rashtriya Ektha Samman" Award was presented recently to V. Chikkasubbanna, Professor of Horticulture, University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore, by Union Minister of State for Planning M.V. Rajasekharan.
