Letters to the Editor
No sooner had the blasts occurred than news channels started speculating. Despite the fact that the victims were overwhelmingly Muslim, they started turning the needle of suspicion towards their all-time favourites, LeT and SIMI. The media seem to bypass even the judicial system by pronouncing instant judgments before the ignorant masses. Maligning a community seems to be the order of the day.
Mukesh Meshram,
The blasts are indeed cruel and should be condemned in the strongest possible terms. But it was surprising to see a few of our news channels, which have come to believe they are a division of the Scotland Yard, interviewing so-called experts who almost held the LeT and SIMI responsible for the blasts. It speaks volumes about their professionalism and sincerity.
Sandeep Ghiya,
