Case filed against Mumbai blasts accused

Staff Correspondent

PATNA: The Anti-Terrorist Squad of Mumbai probing into the serial blasts of July 11 has filed a case in the Basopatti police station of Madhubani district charging one of the accused arrested there of being in possession of RDX explosives.

According to the police, the case was filed after a forensic examination established that the powder seized from the residence of Kamal Ansari, one of the accused now in jail, was 85 per cent pure RDX while the residue comprised charcoal and mud. Following his arrest from his residence, Kamal was taken to Mumbai. His family had claimed that the powder was cement.
