ADB to hold essay contest
Staff Reporter
Kozhikode:
The Asian Development Bank (ADB) is conducting an essay contest for college students on `Sustainable Development in Asia and the Pacific.'
The competition, jointly organised by the ADB and ROAD, a network of Japanese university students, is part of an event that will precede the ADB's 40th Annual Meeting to be held in Kyoto, Japan, in May 2007, said a press release e-mailed here last week. Students between 18 and 29 years of universities in ADB's developing member countries can submit their entries for the competition. The essay in English should be of maximum 2,000 words.
