Hopes to meet Musharraf

On board PM's special flight: "We will cross the bridge when we come to it,'' Prime Minister Manmohan Singh told reporters on Sunday. He was reacting to the BJP demand that he should not meet Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf in Havana during the NAM Summit.

When a reporter referred to plans for a meeting with Gen. Musharraf on the margins of the NAM Summit in Havana from September 15, Dr. Singh said ``some efforts are being made.'' Asked whether he would meet Gen. Musharraf or not, the Prime Minister said ``hopefully.'' He described the multiple blasts in Malegaon as a ``shame.'' — PTI
