Arms dump unearthed

MAHBUBNAGAR: The Greyhounds police uncovered an arms dump belonging to CPI Maoists from a dilapidated house near Ghanpur village of Achampet mandal in the district on Sunday.

The police are yet to confirm the recovery. Huge quantity of explosives, bundles of electric wire, a diary and some cash were unearthed, sources said. It is learnt that the diary contained some vital information about Maoists including names of the persons who donated funds for their movement. It is also learnt that a bomb squad team reached the Achampet to examine the explosive material recovered in the dump.
