Office-bearers

A. Gowrishankar was elected president of the Hoysala Karnataka Sangha at a meeting held recently. The other office-bearers elected for the year 2006-08 are T.L. Chandrashekharaiah, vice-president; Vanaja Chandrashekhariah, secretary; N. Kapardi, treasurer; K.R. Nagaraj, joint secretary; H.B. Chandrashekhar, warden; M.N. Lakshminarasimhaswamy, assistant warden, and H.R. Gopalakrishna, K. Krishnappa, B.G. Srirangaiah, K. Gowrishankar, M.R. Ananthaswamy, Nalini Prabhakar, Vijayalakshmi Subramanyaswamy and T.R. Nagaraj, all members.

Meditation
