BANGALORE: Two women were robbed of their gold chains in two incidents on Saturday and Sunday. Siddagangamma (55) lost her gold chain valued at Rs. 40,000 when she was on her way to buy vegetables. Two persons who arrived in a scooter snatched the chain near Krishna Kutir in Tyagarajanagar police station limits, the police said. A case has been registered in this connection. Veena was robbed of her 40-gram gold chain by two men on a motorcycle, when she was on a morning walk along with her family members on the 80 ft Road in Nagendra Block, the police said. The Girinagar police have registered a case.
