Police remand for Bina Ramani extended

NEW DELHI: A Delhi court on Monday extended the police remand for socialite Bina Ramani for two days.

It also allowed the police to take her to Goa to recover the originals of documents she had allegedly forged to claim ownership of `Once Upon A Time,' a restaurant-cum-bar in south Delhi.

It was at the restaurant, also known as Tamarind Court, that model Jessica Lal was shot dead on April 30, 1999, after she refused to serve liquor Manu Sharma as the bar closed for the day.
