BHAGALPUR: Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar Sushil Kumar Modi on Monday distributed credit cards to 380 weavers and urged the banks to provide loans for promoting their businesses. Addressing a function, Mr Modi said here the Government has set a target to distribute 25000 credit cards among the beneficiaries under different categories in the current financial year. ``Instructions have been issued to the banks to provide loans on favourable terms and those not adhering to the missive would be under scanner of the State Government,'' he added. He also assured the weavers that Bihar Electricity Board would be asked to offer one time settlement schemes for the weavers, who owed huge amount as electricity dues.- UNI
