IDG establishes $150 m technology fund

CHENNAI: IDG Ventures, a global family of venture capital funds affiliated with International Data Group (IDG), has established a $150 million technology venture fund. The company has also announced the appointment of Sudhir Sethi as Managing General Partner of IDG Ventures India. IDG manages $1.4 billion of venture capital in the U.S., China, Vietnam, and now India. The IDG Ventures India Fund will primarily invest in early-stage technology companies and in compelling growth-stage companies.
