Tiruchi: Rule: Come with a higher than usual share of energy and deadlier than usual appetite. Get engrossed in a maze of fun and entertainment. And experience the adrenaline rush. The National Institute of Technology - Tiruchi, is geared up to unleash its 4-day package of excitement, entertainment and competition as `Festember '06' (Festival in September), an inter-collegiate literary and cultural festival, on September 14. A fever has gripped the minds of the organisers and participants of the out-and-out student-show. The minds that worry about algorithms and fuzzy logic have taken on the task of generating event-sponsorship. The hands that would normally meddle with test tubes and gears are set to try new chords on a guitar or reverse beats on a drum. For the talented, there are challenges to conquer in music, dance, art and literature. Quizzing and challenging wits, and gaming events are lined up for non-stage performers. The organisers are keen to make `Festember', a duration of excitement, which students cannot afford to miss. A spotlight in Tiruchi's event calendar, the talented cannot afford to leave the competition unchallenged. True, the much-awaited cultural extravaganza has been adding pride to Tiruchi year after year.
