Shilpa Shetty joins the list

Shilpa Shetty with the team of doctors.

One Sunday afternoon a friend of Dr. Hariharan, son of dentist Janakiraman rang up to say that he was bringing a special patient to his clinic in 10 minutes. The friend refused to reveal the identity of the patient.

The patient who dropped in at the clinic was none other than Hindi film star Shilpa Shetty.

Shilpa Shetty had a pain in her mouth, and was treated with a gel. "She was in Chennai for a function when the pain became acute," Dr. Hariharan said. He said Shilpa Shetty came across as a simple and jovial person without seeming to put on airs.

JGHR Total Dental Care Clinic is not a new name to actors, and Dr. Janakiraman is called as `star doctor' because of his many celebrity patients. The clinic is run by Dr. Janikiraman, Dr. Ganapathy, Dr. Hariharan and Dr. Rekha Hariharan.
