A run for tourism

THE TOURISM departments of Karnataka and the Union Government will celebrate World Tourism Day on September 27 with a series of events here. This year's theme for the day is "Tourism enriches individuals, families, communities all over the world". Close to 700 participants are expected to join a "Tourism Run" in the city.

They will be from the airlines industry, tour operators, travel agencies and colleges offering tourism and hospitality industry courses.
