Meet on IT at Birla Science Centre

The Indo-Italian and EU-India ECCP workshops on `IT in Education, Research and Industry' and `Information and Communication Technology for Indo European Cross Cultural Dissemination' is being organised at B.M. Birla Science Centre on October 3 and 4. Experts from India and Europe will be participating and professionals, research students and others interested in taking part in the workshops can contact Y.Padma, Director's Office at the Science Centre, according to a press release issued here on Tuesday.

Free counselling

Iqra Society for Career Guidance is organising a free personal counselling session on "opportunities in management education" on September 17 between 10 a.m and 12 noon at its office in Lakdikapul. Prof. A. Vidyadhar Reddy, dean, Faculty of Management, Osmania University, will be the key resource person at the session. Haj training camp on September 17

The first training camp for the intending Haj pilgrims who are selected through draw of lots will be held on September 17 at Hi Tech Garden function hall, Wahed Nagar near water tank, Old Malakpet. The camp will be held from 10.30 a.m to 5 p.m. Religious scholars will explain the `Manasik-e-Haj" and speak about Umrah and Ziarat-e-Maadina Munawwarah,

Free camp on infertility

Power consumers grievance cell shifted

The office of the Consumer Grievances Redressal Forum of the Central Power Distribution Company of AP Limited has been shifted to the third floor of the Sitaram Mansion, opposite Singareni Bhavan, Red Hills. The mobile numbers of the chairperson (94408 13914) and Member Revenue matters (94408 13915) remain the same. Citizens with complaints on billing, meters, interruptions, name transfers, pole shifting, delay in release of new services etc. can approach the forum, according to a press release.
