Power shutdown

There will be no power supply on Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. owing to emergency maintenance work in Haralur, Somasundarapalya, Haralur Road, Shivajyoti Layout, Shub Enclave and surrounding areas, according to the Bangalore Electricity Supply Company. Consumers can call 12660 to lodge their complaints.

Music contest

National College, Jayanagar, will organise the 18th Dr. H.S. Murthy intercollegiate music competition on September 22 and 23. The events include Carnatic vocal and instrumental, Hindustani vocal and instrumental, bhavageethe and film hits on classical ragas, patriotic songs and folk songs. Essay competition
