Marico enters hair-care market in Egypt

MUMBAI: Marico group has announced its entry into the Rs. 170 crore hair-care market in Egypt through the brand Fiancee, hitherto owned by the Egypt-based Ready group. The deal envisages acquisition of the brand by Marico as also direct investment in Egypt. Fiancee commands a share of about 20 per cent of the Egyptian hair care market.
