Dhanus Tech launches broadband telephony service

KOCHI: Dhanus Technologies has launched `MPINGI', an international broadband telephony service for the U.S. market, says a press release. Through this system, the customer can use his/her regular phone to make and receive calls through her broadband connection, thereby eliminating the need for a computer or a landline connection. Telemarketing for the MPINGI is being done by the Chennai-based Dhanus Technologies. Its marketing director, S Muthukrishnan, says that the company is looking for a quarter million connections in the first year and plans to target the U.K., Europe and Australia in the coming year.
