BANGALORE: Namdhari XI routed Pioneer Corps Training Centre (PCTC) 7-1 in a super division hockey tournament match here on Wednesday. Anmolak Singh struck a treble (24th, 40th and 48th minutes), while Gurcharan Singh (eighth), Gurpreet Singh (ninth), Gurvinder Singh (41st) and Manjeet Singh (65th) were the other scorers for Namdhari. Surya (68th) reduced the margin. Meanwhile, Army XI notched up a 6-0 victory over Central Excise with Elizar Lakra (16th and 41st minutes) and Dhananjay Madhik (20th and 50th) scoring a double each. Suresh Kumar (third) and S. Sunil (66th) pitched in with a goal apiece. IOCL was too good for Canara Bank, crafting a 7-2 victory. Roshan Minj (second and 65th minutes) and Deepak Thakur (10th and 37th) slotted a double each along with Didar Singh (14th), Diwakar (63rd) and Bharat Chikaria (68th), who scored one each. — Special Correspondent
