Murder of youth: case registered

Thiruvananthapuram: The police have registered a case of murder in connection with the death of a 30-year-old youth whose body was found in a secluded plot near Muttathara on Tuesday. The police identified the deceased as `Kallan' Santhosh. The preliminary forensic report said the youth had been stabbed and beaten to death. An official said Santosh was accused in several assault cases and his name figured in the "anti-social list" of the local police. The body was handed over to relatives after the post-mortem examination.
