PANAJI: The Goa Government's special investigation committee set up under the Debt Management Unit (DMU) of the Finance Department will submit its report to the Government in 60 days by preparing prima facie cases of violations in the matter of property purchase deals by foreigners. Sources in the DMU told The Hindu on Wednesday that the first meeting of the committee was held on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Anupam Kishore, joint secretary (DMU), during which the decision was taken. Around 480 cases of violations, including violation of the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA), are before the committee.
