Power shutdown

CHENNAI: Power supply will be suspended between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Saturday for maintenancde in parts of Egmore, Vepery, Kilpauk, Periamet, Park Town, Stanley, Flower Bazaar, Ambattur, Perungudi, Triplicane, Nungambakkam, Whites Road areas, JJ Nagar West, Palavakkam, Durainallore, Tondiarpet, Virugambakkam, Valasaravakkam, RA Puram, Anna Nagar, Poonamallee, Thirumullaivoyal, KK Nagar East & West, KK Nagar South, Dasarathapuram, Ashok Nagar East, Padi, MKB Nagar, Adyar, Thoraipakkam, Pondeswaram, Raj Bhavan areas, Shanthi Colony, Rangarajapuram, Choolaimedu, T. Nagar, Sowcarpet East, Guindy, Ayanavaram and Thousand Lights.

Eye and dental camp

Art of living

Healing centre opened

Contest winners

The students of Kaligi Ranganathan Montford Matriculation Higher Secondary School participated in `Kalasagar-2006' at Vivekananda Vidyalaya, Sakthivel Nagar, along with 21 schools. Kaligi Ranganathan students came first in the Group Bhajans competition. They also won the first prize at the music contest conducted by the Ramana Kendra Trust on July 22, where 24 schools participated.
