Cantonment Board CEO transferred

HYDERABAD: Secunderabad Cantonment Board (SCB) executive officer T. Arockianathan has been transferred and posted to the Shillong Cantonment. Orders to this effect are expected to reach SCB by Monday.

According to official sources, Nagabhushan Sharma, currently with the Pathankot Cantonment is likely to replace Mr. Arockianathan, whose term had actually expired in June but was staying back because of the board elections that were held in August.

Mr Arockianathan's tenure was fraught with controversies and the public complaining over inept administration.

He is credited with injecting life into several projects that were delayed for years together in the Secunderabad Cantonment.
