Murder bid on couple
A couple was found lying unconscious with injuries in their HCL township quarter at Kushaiguda on Thursday morning. Police said unidentified persons had tried to kill the victims, Krishna Reddy, 40, a HCL employee and his wife Aruna, 33, by hitting them on their heads the previous night. The wife and husband were shifted to a private hospital.
Housewife succumbs to burns
A housewife Reshma, 23, who sustained burns when the kerosene that accidentally spilled over a burning candle in her house caught fire, late on Wednesday night, succumbed to the burns.
Cameraman killed
A cameraman of news channel ETV-2, Rajender Kumar, was killed in an accident on Wednesday night when a bus hit his motorcycle near Khairatabad. He hailed from Nizamabad district.
