AIDSO opposes formula

Thiruvananthapuram: The All India Democratic Students Organisation (AIDSO) has termed the discussions between the Government and representatives of self-financing educational institutions as an act of deception and an endorsement of the capitation system. A press note issued by AIDSO State president M.Shajar Khan said the failure to take action on the irregularities pointed out by the Justice Mohammed Commission in admission to private self-financing institutions had exposed the Government's intentions. Mr. Khan said the unholy pact between the Government and the education mafia would impact on the State's record in the education sector.
