VISAKHAPATNAM : A travelling exhibition of the American Resource Centre is being organised by the Office of Public Affairs, US Consulate General for South India, and the St. Joseph's College for Women (Autonomous) at the college premises at Gnanapuram on September 19. The exhibition will feature a PowerPoint presentation on the resources and services of AIRC along with a book expo, video corner and poster shows - "All Americans: Images of heritage and citizenship" and "Intellectual Property and You". AIRC staff would provide information on how people outside Chennai can access the centre's resources via mail, telephone, fax, email and the Internet.
Enrolment
On-the-spot membership enrolment would be offered both for individuals and institutions at the venue. The exhibition to be inaugurated by Suguna Kannan, Controller of Examinations, St. Joseph's College, will be open 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. R. Venkata Rao, Principal of Andhra University College of Law will preside over the inaugural function.
