Warrior Spirit shines

Pune: Warrior Spirit and Shambaala shone when the horses were exercised here on Saturday morning (Sept. 16).

Sand track:

400m: Sovereign Power (Mansoor) 25. Shaped well.

600m: Penny (Dashrath), Chopasni (app) 42. Former better.

800m: Lone Trojan (N. Jodha) 57, 600/42.5. Easy. Surmount (Pereira), Autumn Mist (Kapoor) 54.5, 600/40.5. They ended level. Queen Victoria (Kharadi) 54.5, 600/41.5. Moved freely. Twilight Charm (rb) 53, 600/39.5. Urged. Flymetothestars (Shelar) 57, 600/43. Easy. Constantia (rb), Princeway (Zameer) 57, 600/42. Both were level.

1,000m: Makramah (Chowghule), Serendipity (I. Shaikh) and Gandiva (Merchant) 1-8, 600/40.5. Makramah finished four lengths in front. Champions League (Neeraj), Thundering Hero (Baria) 1-6.5, 600/40.5. They were pushed and finished level. Warrior Spirit (C. S. Jodha), Shambaala (Neeraj) 1-6, 600/40. They moved well and finished level. Note them. Fantastic Fury (Kamlesh) 1-10.5, 600/43. Handy.

1,200m: Great Alliance (Kamlesh) 1-23.5, 600/41.5. Moved freely. Proteus (V. Kadam) 1-24.5, 600/42. Moved well. Tafeta (T. S. Jodha), Diamonds Of Ace (rb) 1-27, 600/43. Both were urged.

1,400m: Aspinalls (Pereira) 1-40, 600/40.5. Moved freely.
