GULBARGA: Former Deputy Chairman of the State Legislative Council and dissident Janata Dal (S) MLA B.R. Patil on Saturday urged the State Government to extend the sitting of the five-day legislature session in Belgaum city from September 25 to at least 15 days to enable the legislators to discuss the problems faced by the districts in the north Karnataka and take some positive decisions. Addressing a press conference here, Mr. Patil said although officially it was stated that the State legislature would hold a five-day sitting, it was likely that it would go on for three days since the inaugural day proceedings would be adjourned after the address of Governor T.N. Chaturvedi .
