NEW DELHI: Air Sahara has begun a daily return from New Delhi to Port Blair and return via Kolkata the same day. The airline claimed in a press release that it is the only carrier to offer a same day flight without night halt from Delhi and offers passengers the most convenient connection between Delhi and Port Blair and back. Effective Saturday, flight S2319 leaves Delhi at 0620 hours and arrives at Port Blair at 1120 hours, with a hop at Kolkata at 0920 hours. On the return journey, flight S2320 leaves Port Blair at 1150 hours, touches Kolkata at 1350 hours and reaches Delhi at 1725 hours. The lowest fare for Delhi-Port Blair is Rs. 5,075 plus taxes one way and Rs. 2,775 plus taxes between Kolkata and Port Blair one way. The airline said it is offering special introductory packages valid for travel to Port Blair from September 16 to 23 and return from Port Blair by September 27, at Rs. 12,500 for three nights and four days for Delhi-Port Blair. It includes air travel and hotel accommodation with breakfast. On the Kolkata-Port Blair sector, the package will cost Rs. 11,900, the release said.
