CHENNAI: Tamil Nadu State Council for Science and Technology recognises outstanding talent of scientists in agricultural sciences, biological sciences and environmental sciences by presenting the `Tamil Nadu Scientist Award' (TANSA). Applications are invited for TANSA-2006 from candidates.

The applicant should be a native of Tamil Nadu, engaged in research or innovation in any of the specified fields and should have worked in Tamil Nadu during the 10 preceding years. The last date for submission is November 30.
