THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Revenue Department will hand over 123 hectares of land to the Forest Department on Monday for afforestation to compensate for the forestland being utilised for Sabarimala development. An official press release on Saturday said Revenue Minister K.P. Rajendran would hand over the documents relating to the land to Devaswom Minister G. Sudhakaran at a function here. Mr. Sudhakaran, in turn, would hand over these documents to Forest Minister Binoy Viswom. The previous Government of the United Democratic Front had identified a stretch of land at Kambakkallu-Kadavari in Idukki district.
