PALAKKAD: Chief Minister V.S. Achuthanandan will visit the district on Sunday. He will arrive by Kannur Express at Shoranur at 4.30 a.m. and go to the Shoranur Rest House. Mr. Achuthanandan will inaugurate a mini civil station at Pattambi at 9.30 a.m. and later the Pattacherry and Pudukkode drinking water schemes. He will inaugurate the jubilee celebrations of Alathur A.S.M. Higher Secondary School at 4 p.m. He will inaugurate a public meeting at Cherpulassery bus stand at 6 p.m.
