ON A ROLL: Students of the 44-th MBBS batch of Kozhikode Medical College taking the Hippocratic oath at the convocation ceremony held at the college on Saturday.
KOZHIKODE: The convocation of the 44th MBBS batch of Kozhikode Medical College was held at the College Garden on Saturday afternoon. Prof.K.V. Krishnadas, former professor and head of the department of medicine at Thiruvananthapuram Medical College, was the chief guest. Dr. Kalyani Sen, former head of department of Physiology at Kozhikode Medical College, administered the Hippocratic oath to 175 students of the batch on the occasion. Principal Dr. P.V. Ramachandran presided over the function. Vice Principal P.V. Narayanan, House Surgeons Association president Dr. Sreehari G.K and secretary Dr. Aneesh George were among those who spoke.
Address book
Juvaina C. bagged the award for the best outstanding student. M.R. Chandran, former director of medical education released the address book titled `Once upon a time' containing address of all the students of the 44th batch by handing over a copy to Dr. Santhosh, who compiled the book.
