Heavy rain to continue

HYDERABAD: Heavy rains continued in the State for the second day on Saturday. The low-pressure area in the Bay of Bengal remained close to the North Coastal Andhra Coast, without intensifying into a depression.

Rains are likely to lash the State on Sunday too, as the South-West monsoon turned active. In view of this, the heavy rainfall warning issued to Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnanm, East and West Godavari districts has not been withdrawn.
