Demonstration against State Government

VIRUDHUNAGAR: Hundreds of cadres belonging to the Democratic People's Alliance staged a demonstration here on Saturday to protest against the State Government's "failure to contain Chikungunya."

The AIADMK Virudhunagar district secretary and former MLA, K.K. Sivasamy, led the agitation held at Desabandu ground.

The MDMK district secretary, R.M. Shanmugasundaram, the Virudhunagar MLA, R. Vardharajan, were among those who participated in the demonstration.

Around 100 cadres belonging to various alliance parties raised slogans against the DMK Government.
