Pavan qualifies

Mysore: Pavan Chakravarthy (Karnataka) quelled the challenge of State-mate R. Parikshith 10-9 (7-5) in the final qualifying round in the boys' under-14 singles section and made it to the main draw in the AITA Talent tennis series for juniors (u-14 & u-16) here on Saturday.

The results: boys u-14 singles (final qualfying): best of 19 games: Pavan Chakravarthy (Kar) bt R. Parikshith (Kar) 10-9 (7-5); Shyam Venkat (Kar) bt S.M. Dhanush (Kar) 10-3; Gagan P.S. (Kar) bt Arun Kumar (Kar) 10-6; Prajwal Dev (Kar) bt Karan Arjun (Kar) 10-2; G.K. Paras (Kar) bt Dinesh Kotekar (Kar) 10-3; B.R.
