Mysore: Mysore Division bagged the overall team championship title with 390 points in the two day Division-level Dasara Sports 2006 here on Friday and Saturday. Hassan finished second with 161 points. Mysore topped the men's and women's team events with 84 and 94 points respectively. Mysore won a double in badminton. In table tennis, Udupi and Mysore clinched titles in the men's and women's sections. Mysore also won the tennis and basketball titles in both the sections. Mandya won the ball badminton title in the men's section. Hassan won the men's volleyball title, while Mysore bagged the women'stitle. In athletics, Charan Kumar of Udupi won the individual title in the men's section with 15 points (three golds in 100, 200 and 400m), while in the women's section, Ankitha N.V (Kodagu) won the honours with 18 points. Skanda R. Ashwath (Mysore) and Sitara J. Shetty (DK) with won the individual honours in the men's and women's swimming competitions. In gymnastics, N. Lokesh and Amoolya Bharadwaj, both of Mysore, finished on top.
