The Marketing Minister draws flak for coming late to the meeting

ELUR: Minister for Marketing Botsa Satyanarayana's punctuality came under a sharp focus at a meeting of the district review committee here on Saturday. He was under an attack from TDP MLA Kothapalli Subbaraidu for his alleged poor time management. Even as the Minister was to chair the meeting in his capacity as the DRC Chairman, he came to the venue half-an-hour behind the schedule, making several officials and non-officials waiting.

The TDP MLA took serious exception at the `callous' attitude of the Minister and said it showed his scant regard for public issues and the plight of people. Mr. Subbaraidu's critical observations had sent Mr. Satyanarayana into rage.

"The late will be more even by an hour sometimes. If you have patience, stay back or leave the meeting place," he told the TDP MLA which resulted in heated exchanges between the two.
