COIMBATORE: Siruthuli will organise a door-to-door awareness campaign here on September 17 on Noyyalukku Nooru, an initiative to rejuvenate River Noyyal.

According to a release, the cost of the project is about Rs. 15 crore. The campaign was inaugurated on July 14 and many organisations have come forward to contribute for the initiative. Through Noyyalukku Nooru, Siruthuli appeals to all citizens of the city to support the cause by contributing Rs. 100. On Sunday, about 5,000 NSS and NCC volunteers from various colleges will join the members of Siruthuli and go on a door-to-door campaign and cover about a lakh houses.
