Mercy chance: The university has allowed a last `mercy chance' for those admitted in 2001 to the PG courses to write the examinations. Students admitted in 2001 who did not complete the PG programme can apply for the `mercy chance' by remitting Rs.1,000 in addition to the examination fee.

Project fellow: There are two vacancies of research fellow in the population studies centre of the University. The fellowship would be till March 31, 2007 and the fellowship would be Rs.10,000. The last date for submitting applications is September 30. Further information can be had from the centre.

Temporary vacancy: There is a temporary vacancy of `project fellow' in the UGC-funded project `History and Evolution of Traditional Systems of Kerala With Special Reference to Ayurveda' at the department of History. The last date for submitting applications is September 22.
