Plea to implement `Theerapadham' project

Thiruvananthapuram: The Trivandrum Residents' Apex Council has urged the Government to implement the `Theerapadham' project for development of tourism and infrastructure. A press note quoting council president Amaravila Ramakrishnan Nair and secretary K.T. Roy said any further delay would sabotage the project and aggravate the pollution of the Parvathy Puthanar canal. — Special Correspondent

Technopark employees hospitalised

Thiruvananthapuram: As many as 15 employees of an IT firm on the Technopark campus here were taken to hospital following symptoms of food poisoning. The employees started vomiting and developed signs of nausea after taking food from a restaurant on the campus at 6.30 p.m.
