City BJP unit set to elect its team on September 27

HYDERABAD:
The city unit of BJP will elect new office-bearers on September 27 when the present team headed by Venkatramani completes its three-year term.
The party is said to be working towards having a unanimous choice and avoiding a contest.
A core committee that includes former Union Minister Bandaru Dattatreya and party State president N. Indrasena Reddy is expected to meet in next couple of days to finalise details.
According to party leaders, two office-bearers from the outgoing team — vice-president and Barkatpura corporator B. Venkat Reddy and general secretary I. Lingam — are keen to join the race.
