Pakistani touch for peace poem

HYDERABAD: Renowned Pakistani singer-musician Mohd. Iqbal Behleem has composed the music for `The world needs peace,' a poem written by T. Ashok Chakravarthy of the State.

The `Poem Song Melody' album has been selected under the Musical Peace Poem Project and will be released on September 21, World Peace Day.

Mr. Chakravarthy, an employee of the Andhra Pradesh State Cooperative Bank, is said to be the only Indian among poets listed in the album.
