Student leaders suggest improvements to curriculum

50 city schools participate in `Leaders Meet 2006'
|
CHENNAI
: Eighty student leaders from 50 city schools participated in `Leaders Meet 2006' organised by Velammal Matric Higher Secondary School and The School of Business Logistics, Singapore, recently.
The meet featured lectures by Jai Prakash Gandhi, Salem-based education analyst; Perumal Magayson, dean, World Trade Center University, Washington; and D. Raja Ganesan, retired professor, University of Madras.
The panellists said more audio-visual aids could be incorporated in the curriculum and that several co-curricular activities could be organised to supplement classroom learning.
